Bill Kent's love of drag racing brought him back after an almost 20-year absence from the sport. As a high school athlete Bill was introduced to martial arts. Before he graduated from Arizona State University in 1978, he earned his First-Degree Black Belt in Tae-Kwon-Do. After returning to Midland, he opened his own Tae-Kwon-Do School. After 21 years of study and practice, he eventually earned his 4th-Degree Black Belt. As an advocate and competitor, he fought in more than 100 karate tournaments all over the country and won many championships. His obvious competitive sprit led him back to the favorite sport of his youth... drag racing.
